Zhongshan-made locks from mechanical mastery to smart entry.
Boshi Lock was founded in 2012 in Zhongshan, a city that has been China's lock manufacturing hub for over two decades. The company started with mechanical deadbolts and padlocks for the domestic market, then expanded into OEM production for European hardware brands after achieving EN 12209 certification in 2015.
The 12,000 m² facility covers die casting, CNC machining, electroplating, cylinder pinning, and final assembly. All mechanical lock components are produced in-house except for steel shackles, which are sourced from a long-term partner with full material certification. This vertical integration allows Boshi to control quality and lead times tightly.
In 2019, Boshi entered the smart lock segment, investing in a dedicated R&D team for firmware, mobile app integration, and biometric sensor modules. The company now offers Bluetooth fingerprint locks and keypad entry systems alongside its traditional mechanical range, serving both residential and commercial markets.
Sample lead time is 18 days for mechanical locks and 25 days for smart locks with custom firmware. Production lead time is 25–40 days depending on finish and volume. OEM branding and packaging are available from 500 pieces per SKU.
