Gokin
Solar Guangzhou
BC back-contact, TOPCon and bifacial double-glass PV modules and distributed PV systems from a Huadu, Guangzhou company registered in 2023, registry-checked active with RMB 900 million paid in, 623 insured staff and PV equipment manufacture in its scope; court filings and nine historical enforcement records are disclosed, and no datasheet or certificate has been supplied yet.
Three module technologies and distributed systems.
BC Back-Contact PV Modules
Listed first on the application. In a back-contact cell both contacts sit on the rear, leaving the front free of metal lines. The application states a top conversion efficiency of 24.8% and describes the company as one of a small number able to mass-produce BC modules (both stated). No datasheet has been supplied; ask for the power classes and the test report behind the efficiency figure.
TOPCon PV Modules
N-type TOPCon modules. Ask for the power class range, temperature coefficient, first-year and annual degradation in the warranty, and whether the cells are made in the group or bought in.
Bifacial Double-Glass PV Modules
Glass-glass modules that also generate from the rear side. Ask for the bifaciality factor, glass thickness, frame or frameless construction, and the mechanical-load rating that was certified.
Distributed PV Power Systems
Listed as 分布式光伏电站系统. The registered scope covers solar power technical services. The application does not say which system components beyond modules are supplied; ask for the scope of supply.
Project and Wholesale Orders
The application targets wholesalers, brands, OEM/ODM buyers and projects in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines and South America, with a stated MOQ of 40 pieces, standard samples in 5–10 days, custom formats in 15–25 days and production in 20–35 days. It describes a gigawatt-scale module base in Guangzhou able to take ground-mount and overseas distributed rooftop projects (stated).
What Has Not Been Supplied
There is no company website on the application and no datasheet, model list, certificate, test report or warranty document was attached. Annual capacity is entered as “160” with the unit set to “other”, so it is not usable as written. This page therefore describes product lines only, as stated by the company.
What the registry confirms, and what stays open.
Registered to Manufacture PV Equipment
The registry read (2026-09-19, official source) gives the scope as including 光伏设备及元器件制造 (manufacture of photovoltaic equipment and components), 光伏设备及元器件销售 (their sale), 半导体器件专用设备制造 (manufacture of special equipment for semiconductor devices) and 太阳能发电技术服务 (solar power technical services). The registered industry classification is electricity and heat production and supply.
No Import-Export Clause in the Scope
The scope as recorded contains no 货物进出口 (import and export of goods) clause. The application ticks “foreign-trade operator” as held; no document was attached. Within a group, exports may be contracted through another entity. Ask which company would be the exporter of record, the contract party and the warrantor.
623 Insured Staff on Record
The application states more than 500 employees. The registry read records 623 people on social insurance at this entity — the two figures are consistent.
Capital and Ownership
Registered capital is RMB 900 million, recorded as fully paid in. The company is a limited liability company wholly owned by one corporate shareholder, 高景太阳能股份有限公司, registered on 21 July 2023 by the Huadu District market regulator; the record was last approved on 29 December 2025. Two registered-capital changes and one registered-address change are on record.
Court Filings and Past Enforcement Records
The risk scan read on 2026-09-19 lists 28 items under own risk: 18 case filings (13 with the company as defendant, 5 as plaintiff), 8 hearing notices (5 as defendant, 3 as plaintiff) and 2 judgments in labour disputes in which it was sued. It also lists 9 historical court-enforcement records (被执行人) — cases in which a court compelled the company to perform an obligation it had not met on time; they are historical, not current. Three related-party items concern its shareholder. Amounts and outcomes were not retrieved. Ask for the status of open cases before a large order or prepayment.
Certificates Listed, None Supplied
The application lists a foreign-trade operator record, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and adds in a note: High-Tech Enterprise and “specialised and sophisticated” SME status, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001, IEC, TÜV Rheinland and CQC product certification, and a carbon-footprint verification. The registry record read carries the High-Tech Enterprise and specialised-SME tags. No certificate was attached, and a module certificate is only useful with its holder, factory and model list visible. Nothing is claimed here until the documents are seen.
What was checked — and what the check found.
The registry read is done: status, scope, capital, shareholder, insured headcount and court records come from an official registry source read on 2026-09-19 and are quoted as recorded. Everything else on this page — product lines, the efficiency figure, MOQ, sampling and lead times, target markets and the certificate list — comes from the application submitted in the company’s name; no datasheet, certificate or document was supplied with it. This page is updated when documents arrive.
A PV module company since 2023, read off its registry record and application.
Gokin Solar Guangzhou is Guangzhou Gokin Solar Technology Co., Ltd. (广州高景太阳能科技有限公司), registered on 21 July 2023 in the automotive industrial base of Huadu District, Guangzhou, with registered capital of RMB 900 million, fully paid in, and wholly owned by 高景太阳能股份有限公司. An official registry read on 2026-09-19 confirms active (存续) status, 623 insured staff and a scope that includes the manufacture and sale of photovoltaic equipment and components and solar power technical services. The English name is the one given on the application.
Public sources name this entity. A Guangzhou municipal government release dated 18 May 2026 describes the Huadu plant as the group’s only module production base in South China, set up in 2023, and reports its three-millionth BC module coming off the line. Guangzhou Daily reported on 12 August 2024 that the company, by name, shipped its first export order of TOPCon double-glass modules to Brazil. The group’s website states 16 GW of module capacity in Guangzhou; December 2023 reports described a 16 GW project with a 4 GW first phase, while the 2026 release says the 16 GW first phase is in full production. None of this was checked on site.
The application lists BC back-contact, TOPCon and bifacial double-glass PV modules and distributed PV systems, for wholesale, brand, OEM/ODM and project buyers in Southeast Asia and South America, with an MOQ of 40 pieces, standard samples in 5–10 days and production in 20–35 days. It states a top conversion efficiency of 24.8% and a gigawatt-scale module base in Guangzhou.
Three things are open. The registry lists 28 court items under the company’s own name and nine historical enforcement records, whose amounts and outcomes were not retrieved. The scope has no import-export clause, so the exporter of record and the warrantor need naming. And no datasheet, certificate or model list came with the application. Ask about all three before relying on the listing.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does Gokin Solar Guangzhou make?
By its application: BC back-contact PV modules, TOPCon PV modules, bifacial double-glass PV modules and distributed PV systems, for wholesale, brand, OEM/ODM and project buyers. Its registered scope includes the manufacture and sale of photovoltaic equipment and components. No datasheet or model list has been supplied yet.
Is this listing CMH-verified?
Yes, on the registry check only: an official registry read on 2026-09-19 confirms active status, RMB 900 million paid-in capital, 623 insured staff and a scope that includes PV equipment manufacture. It does not confirm any module model, certificate, efficiency figure or warranty — no documents were supplied.
What are the court records?
The registry lists 18 case filings, 8 hearing notices and 2 labour-dispute judgments under the company’s own name, in most of which it is the defendant, plus 9 historical enforcement records, meaning a court once compelled it to meet an obligation it had not met on time. The amounts and outcomes were not retrieved. For a large order, ask for the status of the open cases and structure payment accordingly.
Who would I be contracting with?
That needs asking. The registered scope of this entity has no import-export clause, and it is wholly owned by 高景太阳能股份有限公司. The exporter, the warrantor and the factory can be three different entities within a group. Get all three named in the contract, and check that the module certificates list the factory that will build your order.
Which certificates does a PV module need, and what should I check on them?
The baseline is IEC 61215 for design qualification (current edition IEC 61215-1:2021) and IEC 61730 for safety (IEC 61730-1:2023). Type approval is tied to the assessed design and bill of materials — IEC TS 62915 sets the retesting rules when materials, components or process change — and a certificate names its holder, the model list and the factory. Check that all three match the modules you are buying.
What do South American markets add?
Brazil’s Inmetro Portaria 140/2022 makes conformity assessment compulsory for modules of 5 Wp and above: a supplier’s declaration, Inmetro registration (importers included) and the ENCE energy label. Brazil raised import duty on modules (NCM 8541.43.00) to 25% from 13 November 2024, with a 9.6% quota window for plants above 5 MW until 15 July 2027. Chile requires modules to meet IEC 61730 and IEC 61215 and to be authorised by its regulator SEC. Colombia covers PV panels under its RETIE regulation (Resolution 40117 of 2024); certificates issued under the old RETIE lapsed after 31 December 2025. Argentina requires IEC 61730 and IEC 61215 certification for distributed generation.
And in Southeast Asia?
Indonesia makes SNI IEC 61215 mandatory for crystalline-silicon modules, for producers and importers alike. Thailand’s TIS 61215 and TIS 2580 were voluntary as of May 2026, with a ministry plan to make them compulsory by early 2027. The Philippines published a draft order in May 2026 for mandatory certification of PV modules; whether it is in force was not confirmed. The Malaysian and Singaporean grid-connection guides that were read do not name a module standard. Vietnam bans imports of used equipment for self-consumption systems that sell surplus power, and asks for certificates of origin and quality for the panels.
Which HS code applies, and why did quotes change in 2026?
Under HS 2022, modules fall under 8541.43, “photovoltaic cells assembled in modules or made up into panels”. China cut the export VAT rebate on these from 13% to 9% from 1 December 2024 and cancelled it from 1 April 2026, which feeds into export prices. Classification and duty are decided by customs at import.
